Rainforest Friends Ghana

Forest Friends Ireland have a long association with the environmental project initiated by Rainforests Friends Ghana (RAFFS/G) under the leadership of Mr. Emmanuel NsorKwesi.

RAFFS/G was developed resulting from the visit to Ghana of John Haughton of FFI in 2007 and has grown into a vibrant organisation operating in the Akuapim North District of Ghana.

Emmanuel took part in the Forest and Climate Change Conference and training programme organised in Ireland by Forest Friends in 2008 and was involved in a lot of rainforest awareness work with local groups and schools in Dublin at the time.

You can download our joint inaugural "NEART" document describing our initiative to protext the remaining rain forests of Ghana.

You can visit http://www.rainforestfriendsghana.org/ to read more about the environmental campaigns of RAFFS/G in Ghana.

Forest Friends rely on your generous donation to continue our work.
