I  am in the dry north of Ghana.I have identified hill forest that offers green life.the forest has wild fruit and medicinal plants serving as food and income for local people.

However, nomadic farmers deliberately set fire every year to induce growth of fresh grass for their crops. This destroy the green life.

The project title:
IDENTIFICATION AND PRESERVATION OF FRUIT TREES AND MEDICINAL PLANTS FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT.

Objectives:
1. identify medicinal and fruit plants in the hill forest.
2. To involve local people in protection and preservation of local fruits trees for sustainable development.
3. develop metwildfire Management strategy to maintain green life.
4. To review agriculture of the local people for sustainable future.

Please see pictures of fruit and medicinal plants identified.
